IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth Reginald
Maxberry
December 22, 1953 – July 19, 2020
Kenneth Reginald Maxberry was born on December 22, 1953 to Kenneth Clarence Maxberry and Ola Beatrice Frye in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kenneth also known as Reggie was the second born and oldest son in his family. Reggie was a member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference ( SCLC) in Lincoln Heights, Ohio. Also a member of the Job Corps in South Bend, Indiana. Reggie was a aircraft mechanic at General Electric for many years. Two early marriages gave him the children he dearly loved and that dearly loved him.He met and fell in love with his present and devoted wife Gladys.Gladys in return fell in love with Reggie because of his love for food and his love of GOD.Gladys stood by her husband to the end.
Reggie enjoyed reading, learning and teaching. Fishing on a warm spring or hot summer day. Playing chess with a friend or racing a family member who could never out run him. I guess we would be remiss and he would be very unhappy if we didn't mention how much he also loved his dog, Midnight. Reggie was a loyal husband, loving father, stepfather and grandfather.
Preceding him in death is his mother Ola, father Kenneth, sister Anna Jean, brother James (Jimmy), and nephew Spencer.
He leaves to mourn his memory: Wife Gladys Evans Maxberry. Nine children; Tocka Massey, Rasheed Maxberry, Nadirah Maxberry, Tamika Smith, Najla Maxberry, Nakisha Maxberry, Natoria Maxberry, Na'eem Maxberry, and Kennefa Maxberry. Five step children; Taki, Tiawon, Barry, Carmen, Tracey. Twelve grandchildren. Four step grandchildren. One great grandchild, and three step great grandchildren. One brother Duane Maxberry. A host of nieces , nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
