IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth Harvey
Brown
April 8, 1953 – December 7, 2025
Kenneth Harvey Brown was born on April 8, 1953, to Odell Brown and Dora (McNear) Hill in Cincinnati, Ohio. He honored his father and greatly loved and adored his mother. He was called to his heavenly, eternal reward on Sunday, December 7, at the VA Hospital Community Living Center. As the scripture says, "God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb; He gently whispered, 'Peace, be thine.'"
Kenny was educated in the Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Mt. Healthy High School in 1971. He attended the University of Cincinnati and later joined the United States Air Force, from which he was honorably discharged.
In San Antonio, Texas, he married his high school sweetheart, Gail Butler, on March 24, 1973. They were happily married for 52 years. From this union, they were blessed with two beautiful children. Kenny was a devoted, faithful, and caring husband, father, and Papa.
Kenneth was employed as a draftsman with the Wyoming Highway Department in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He also earned an associate degree in fine arts from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne. Kenny accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Walnut Hills. One thing he loved to do was listen to music in his basement and spend time with family, whether at family cookouts or outdoor barbecues. Throughout his life, he enjoyed cooking, designing, and building various projects in the home.
Kenny leaves to cherish his memory and honor his legacy his devoted wife, Gail; two children, Nikki (Renee) Brown and Kerry (Tanique) Brown; seven grandchildren: Ashley Brown of South Carolina, Bobby (Ranny) Brown, Dajah Brown, Trinton (Tatum) Brown, Brooklyn Brown, Aryian Brown, and Kailei Brown; six great-grandchildren: Bella Brown, Bellamy Brown, Tayden Brown, Chrome Smith, Tristyn Brown, and Myana Irby; his aunt, Verdell Britton; two brothers, Daryl Brown of Columbus and Charles (Akiko) Brown of Japan; two sisters-in-law, Diane Butler and Belinda (Eddie) Davis; and a brother-in-law, Kind Butler. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, a loving cousin, Karen Luckie, and longtime friends William (Billy) Gales, Charles Hemphill, Bob Shelby, and Jerry Wolfork.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving parents; his stepfather, John Hill; and two brothers, Brandon Hill and David Brown.
