Ke'Asha Janae Murph Reed was born on December 21, 1993, at Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the daughter of Richelle and Kenyatta Gibson. From a young age, Ke'Asha shined brightly. She was an all-star athlete, excelling in T-ball, cheerleading and soccer, where her discipline, confidence, and radiant spirit were evident to all who knew her.

Ke'Asha attended Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA). In high school, she studied diligently and formed lifelong friendships with her dear friends Maya and Janessa. Her academic excellence earned her a scholarship to Ohio University, where she studied at the Scripps College of Communication. During this time, Ke'Asha met some of her closest friends, including Jasmine-Reneé and William. Ke'asha also became a member of the Delta Phi LegAKAcy 20/20 line of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Here, she gained cherished sisters, including Adrienne, Gabby and Val. In 2015, Ke'Asha earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies.

In 2016, Ke'Asha moved to Washington, D.C. There, she continued her pursuit of excellence by earning a Master of Professional Studies in Hospitality Administration from Georgetown University in 2018. Throughout her professional career, Ke'Asha was a natural leader, serving in coordination, managerial, and, most recently, directorial roles with Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she was known for her compassion, integrity, and commitment to service.

Above all, Ke'Asha loved spending time with family and friends. Ke'Asha's heart was deeply rooted in her love for her parents, Richelle and Kenyatta. Her mother was her first best friend, her confidant, and her safe place. She adored her father and carried a protective, nurturing spirit toward both of them, always striving to ensure their happiness and well-being and dreaming of a life filled with peace and abundance for them.

Among her many treasured family relationships, Ke'Asha shared a particularly close, sibling-like bond with her cousins Brandon, Karis and Michael. This connection was built on love, loyalty, and a lifetime of shared moments.  She found joy in traveling and exploring the world with loved ones, being the best DJ in Cincinnati (DJ "Kee Gotti"), tailgating at Cincinnati Bengals' games, exploring the best restaurants, and indulging in her favorite shopping spots—Sephora, Ulta, Target, and Bath & Body Works. Ke'Asha was full of life, laughter, and a beautiful spirit that touched everyone she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her cousin La'Dre Malika Gibson and uncle Kedrick Duane Lover Murph.

Ke'Asha is lovingly survived by her parents, Richelle and Kenyatta Gibson; her grandparents, Arleen Strum, Valerie Murph, Zelmar Gibson, Barry Hopkins and James Reed Jr.; her significant other, Alan Winters; and her siblings, Ashanti Gibson and Lachelle Brooks.

She is also survived by her Aunts: Shavon, Carla, Connie, Lana, and her beloved cousins: Brandon, Karis, Makayla, Justus, Brielle, Shaqunia  "Shay," David "Scoop," Octavia "Tay Tay," Michael, Deonte and Jasmin, along with a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Bethel Baptist Church, 2712 Alms Place, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 11825 Pippin Road, Colerain Township, Ohio 45231.
