Katrina Black McKinney was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 8, 1970, to the parents of Margie Black and Donald Stallworth.
Katrina Black grew up downtown Cincinnati, in Laurel Home Community, she graduated from Taft high school and later had two children (Lakeisha and Trenay). She then later married her husband Alfonzo McKinney (man-man) and build life with him until she became a widow. Katrina was a loving spirit that enjoy life and loved to smile no matter the circumstances.
Katrina has gone to join her late husband: Alfonzo McKinney nephew: Masceseon Merriweather.
She leaves to cherish behind her children: Lakeisha Black and Trenay Reed; three grandchildren: Key'shyah, Ke'riah Watson and Montaevoah Waton; brother: Rodriquez Black; sister: Alfreda Black, Katrina Edwards, Lenis Hurly; nieces: Latosha Shelton, Rodquisha Black, Ivy Racheal, Brittiny Edwards, Dakeisha Presswood, Morgan Hurley; nephews: Donald Shelton, Reginald Shelton, Matthew Merriweather, Demarko Merriweather, Montanez Merriweather, Rodney Stanley, Rayshawn Black, Brandon Hurley, Cameron Hurley, and Bryan Edwards; great nieces: Kendall Richard, Aaliyah Neeley, Miracle Carter; uncles: Edward Carter, Raymond Gutter; Aunt Jeanette Carter, Jerryann Black: mother-in-law Shirley Jones; sister-in-law: Clarrisa Merriweather; brother-in law: Kenneth McKinney, and other family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
She will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
