It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Katie Mae Barnes, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio.   She was born on Saturday, December 2, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the New Unity Baptist Church, 2124 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati  (45219).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
