Karoline Elaine Cooke, affectionately known as Kay, was born on January 24, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the second child of the late Lee and Neva Sanders. She passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, at the age of 71.

Kay was a proud graduate of Taft High School, Class of 1971. In 1978, she married the love of her life, John Cooke, and their bond remained unwavering throughout her life.

She dedicated over 30 years of service to Western & Southern Life Insurance Company before retiring. Kay's life was defined by love, joy, and selfless acts of kindness. A devoted daughter, caring sister, and beloved aunt, she brightened every room with her radiant smile and warm spirit, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Lee and Damon Sanders; her brothers-in-law, Greg Williams and Greg Pitts; niece, Takieda Sanders; great-nephews, Diaro Sanders and Domingo Sanders; and great-great-niece, Zamorah Sanders.

Kay's memory will be cherished by her loving siblings: Bobbie Sanders, Leon Sanders, Sandra Williams, Cecil Sanders, Cecilia Pitts, Willie Sanders, Anthony Sanders, Alicia Sanders (Jack), and Reggie Sanders. She also leaves behind a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
