IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Juliette (Wallace)
Levingston
April 30, 1935 – May 13, 2020
Juliette Levingston, née Zimmerman-Wallace, daughter of the late Lula Mae Wallace and raised by the late Thomas Lee Wallace, was born April 30, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She departed peacefully in her sleep at home on May 13, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mellen B. Levingston Jr., sisters Bernice Zimmerman and Mildred Calloway.
Juliette gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Zion Baptist Church under the late Reverend L.V. Booth. She later joined Greater Liberty Baptist Church, under the late Reverend Jerome M. Lewis, Sr., where she was a dedicated church member. She loved helping to prepare meals for the sick and shut in. She also enjoyed making home made cards for them and those celebrating special milestones. She loved her church family and was affectionately known as "church mom".
Juliette graduated from Old Woodward High School. After graduation she worked at Christ Hospital and later at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital until she retired. After retirement she started walking with a mall walking club, "The Swinging Senior Citizens". They were truly family; outside of walking they traveled together and enjoyed the finer things in life. Whenever you saw Juliette she was always smiling, sharing a positive message, and being an inspiration to others. If she wasn't feeling well you would never know - she was always upbeat. Juliette loved her children & grandchildren; every chance she got she didn't mind talking about them with a big smile on her face. If you were complaining about someone or doing something wrong you could count on her to say, "If you ain't never did anything wrong then you haven't lived." Afterwards she would laugh and give you a big smile.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children; son, Garry Cutright (Chris), daughters, Teresa Ice & Carol Cutright; four stepsons, Gary, Wendell (Pam), Barry Levingston (Connie) & Marty Levingston; two sister-in-law's; Marian Johnson & Lucille Levingston, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, also a host of other relatives and dear friends.
