Ms. Judie Lee Lewis was born January 23, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Timothy Lewis, Jr. and Willie Bell Goode Lewis.

Judie confessed faith in Christ at an early age. She joined the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. Henry Jones, where she was a member of the church choir.

She attended and graduated from Robert A. Taft High School. She was employed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) until she became disabled by illness.

Judie loved and cherished her family. She had a delightful spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. Judie had an incredible talent for styling hair; she enjoyed listening to music, singing, and getting together with her family. She maintained her sense of humor until the end. She will be greatly missed.

On November 30, 2018, Judie departed this life at The Christ Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Willard Lewis, and one sister, Catherine Lewis Mobley.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one loving and devoted daughter, LaKia, and three loving sons, Tavaris, Ronald, and Mateo, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Shelly L. Hockersmith (Daniel) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Linda Lewis , Janeen L. Webb (Lonnie) of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Arthur Lewis and Patrick (Diane) Lewis of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren Tayvon, Amir, Jerrell, and Jaron; one aunt, Mabel Williams of Columbus, Georgia, and one uncle, Willie James Lewis of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; and seven nieces, Melvina, LaToya, Yolanda, Tiahara, Shelly Janeen, Leigha and Diamond; seven nephews, Joseph, Enrico, Patrick Lamont, Kristopher, Nathaniel Andre, Will Ryan and Devyn; three half-sisters (Deborah, Patricia, Margaret) and three half-brothers (Timothy III, Rodney, Bobby); her best sister-friends, Shonda Davis and Ms. Rosie Griffin; the Easterlings, the Washingtons and the Williams and all of her Dayton Street and Moosewood friends and family.  And a host of other friends and family.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, 45220.
