Joyce Ann Hill was born to Princessa and Roosevelt Hill on November 10, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joyce departed this life and went home to the Lord on September 13, 2024.

She was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

Joyce was a beautiful, loving, kind selfless, compassionate woman with a heart of gold. She had a strong unconditional love for her two children, nieces and nephews. She was a dynamic woman and her infectious smile, giggle, and smirk will be missed. But she would live in our hearts for eternity. Joyce was a strong woman, a loving mother, daughter, sister aunt, and friend. She was always late to everything, but as long as she came with her bake beans and roast, she was good. She was a joy to be around. Her circle was very small to be in her presence was a blessing.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Princessa Hill; her father, Roosevelt Hill; nephew, Donshae Gentry; and niece, Jahmaria Gentry.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Deja Hill; her son, Princeton Dornal, Jr.; her siblings: John Carr, Jacquatta Gentry, and April Gentry; her aunt, Marian Carr; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She also leaves behind a long-time friend Alicia, god-daughter Dominique, and good friends Lawrence P-Funk and Angie.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Seton K of C Hall, 4109 W 8th St, Cincinnati, (45205).

Private interment at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati.
