Joyce  Campbell August 1, 1951 - January 2, 2024

Joyce Curtisine Campbell was born August 1, 1951 to Jesse Mary (Washington). Charles Curtis Campbell in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She attended St. Joseph Catholic school and graduated from Hughes High school. Joyce was the oldest of seven and spent most of her time caring for her siblings while their parents worked. She worked in childcare when she met the love of her life Larry Darnell Jones. In 1978 they welcomed their son Roberto D. Campbell to the world. When Larry suddenly passed away, Joyce became a single mother taking care of her son. She then met her second love Roger Mark Smith and welcomed a daughter in 1996 Angel M. Campbell. Joyce loved music and spending time with her family, especially with her grandkids. She was an amazing mother and anyone who knew her knew she had a heart of gold.

The sweetest soul you'd ever meet. Joyce has lived a beautiful life with her beautiful spirit and is now reunited with her mother (Jesse), father (Curtis), grandson (Amari Campbell) brothers (Lance and Duncan Campbell) as well as both her children's father (Larry Jones and Roger Smith).

Joyce leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Roberto Darnell Campbell and daughter Angel Marie Campbell. Six grandkids Daniel Campbell, Roberto Campbell Jr, Bre'Anna Campbell, Shaniya Campbell, Darnarion Campbell and Dontez Lawrence. Her sisters Patricia Frye, Sherri McQueen, Debra Campbell and Donna Campbell as well as her nieces Sheila Jackson, Jamesha Campbell, and Maqeda Campbell. She also leaves behind four great grandkids and a host of great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
