Joshua Darnell Ellis Jr. "EJ" was born on January 16th, 2025, to the loving parents of Joshua Ellis Sr. and Janice Woods at Bethesda North Hospital. You were the most cutest little guy I ever seen, don't be jealous big brah. You were here with us for 5 months of your life. Definetly not enough time. The question that keeps going through mine your dad and siblings is why GOD? Though we know to never question his plans. Were very heartbroken from no longer having your presence with us. You are our guardian angel son. Until we meet again on the other side love always Mommy Daddy  your big brah and sisters.

Joshua Jr. leaves to cherish his memory his mother Janice Woods, his father Joshua Ellis Sr.; Brother, Brian Brown sisters, Brianna Brown, Sy'Narra Ellis, Ja Myra Ellis and his uncle Courtney Jones, Jeremy Ellis, Aunts Dominique Jones, Keshia Ellis Lashonda Chalk, Grandmother Pamela Ellis; Tracey Jones Grandfather James Woods Jr. Aunt Patricia Woods.

Those who preceded him in death Great aunt Beverly Sweat Great Great Grandmother Katherine Jones and a host of family members and friends.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
