Joseph Richard Linder

Joseph Richard Linder was born November 2, 1954 to James and Geneva Linder.  He was the seventh of nine children: Geraldine ( Deanie) , James Jr. (Sonny), Ronald (Ducky), Janice, Deborah, Marilyn (Vicki), Thomas (Tony) and Dale.

Joseph was educated in the Cincinnati Public schools attending South Avondale Elementary, North Avondale Elementary and graduating from Woodward High School in 1972.  He continued his education by attending Xavier University.  Joseph  worked at Bethesda Hospital before relocating to California where he owned a Home Security Company.

His family knew him as Joe , a creative and talented free spirit.  He was an accomplished guitar player and played in bands around the LA area.  He lived life to its fullest.  He was a social creature  who enjoyed meeting people and never met a stranger.  He was generous, giving and forgiving! He was always ready to lend a helping hand to someone in need!  Joe departed this life suddenly at the age of 67 on August 2, 2022 in  Burbank, California.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Geneva Linder, his siblings, Geraldine Stern, James Linder Jr., Ronald Linder, Deborah Linder and Marilyn V. Linder.

He is survived by his remaining siblings, Janice Linder Mason, Thomas (Gina) Linder and Dale (Halima) Linder. He also leaves one Aunt, Roberta Tugwell 16 nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service is planned at the convenience of the family!
