It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Johnnie William Brewer, age 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Friday, November 1, 2024, in Cincinnati,  Ohio.   He was born on Tuesday, November 16, 1948, in Lake City, Tennessee.

Johnnie William Brewer, Age 75, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, surrounded by a loving family.

Johnnie was born November 16, 1948, in Lake City, TN, the son of parents Annie and Hatson Brewer (Woods).

Johnnie graduated from Lake City High School. Johnnie was a member of the military (Army). Johnnie married Marie (Adams) on May 11, 1987, in Cincinnati, OH. Johnnie worked for the City of Cincinnati in the Waterworks Department.

Johnnie is lovingly remembered by his children: Daddy Fat (Sonequa), Sharon, and James "Shorty" Adams (grandson). Siblings: Shirley, Ellene, and Kenneth (Patricia), and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, and cousins.

Preceding Johnnie in death are Marie Brewer (Adams).

In this time of bereavement, we know that God's divine love is in control and that He will get the glory from our lives. The family would like to acknowledge with deep gratitude and appreciation your expressions of loving support, concern, prayers, and cards during this time. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
