Johnathan Kenneth Lee was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 9, 1991 to John and Phyllis Lee. He departed this earth on October 29, 2020.
Johnathan was loving and caring and would do anything for anyone. Johnathan was known for his many nicknames.
Johnathan had a great sense of humor. He was someone that you could call on and know that he would come. While Johnathan was battling his illness, he still found time and a way to reach out to others. Close friends would say Johnathan's love was unconditional. Johnathan was very private, but always had a big heart.
Johnathan was an animal lover and loved his dog Foxy. Johnathan also enjoyed playing video games. As a child Johnathan used to play basketball with his Fisher Price Basketball Hoop. As the years went on he started playing basketball for Lincoln Heights Tigers. He went on to play basketball with the Princeton Vikings. His junior year he switched over and started playing varsity football for the Princeton Vikings.
Johnathan had a love for a wide range of music from Old School to modern Hip Hop and R&B. He loved artist such as J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Nipsey, Tupac, Cameron and Dipset. Johnathan also listened to Michael Jackson, Steven Wonder, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Teyonna Taylor and other soulful music artist that reflected his calm and cool demeanor. He was very intellectual and could converse on many subjects. Johnathan was a huge fan of Joe Budden Podcast.
Johnathan loved his only nephew, DJ. Their bond was inseparable. They would take many trips together and attend basketball games. He would make it an effort to be there for everyone. Although he was the youngest of three, Johnathan was the foundation that held every one together. He exemplified love and grace. He embodied the power of sincere selflessness.
Johnathan leaves to cherish his memory: his mother and father John and Phyllis Lee, his brothers: Danny Tapplar, Gary Washington (Demetrius Washington), John Coffey; one sister Priscilla Coffey; and his one and only nephew De'Jaun Washington; special friends, Chris Brown, Jordan Hopgood, Keyon Tillman, and Tajh Chappell; and a host of relatives and TONS of extended family.
Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at the Walker- McMILLAN STREET CHAPEL, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 4:00 pm. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions, masks are required in order to enter the service and social distancing must be practiced. Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
