John E. Schmidt, age 64, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born February 18, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio. John is survived by his brother Michael (Susanna) Schmidt. Nieces & nephews Jennifer (Rick), Brian, Eric (Erin), and Mark (Ashlee), and great nieces & nephews Joshua, Makinley, Callie and Aidyn. John was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Chloe (nee Metternich) and his Aunts, Viola Metternich & Iris Braun. Visitation is from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, on Friday, October 30, 2015, at the Walker - Mt. Healthy Chapel, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice..
