John  Moon Jr. April 5, 1964 - September 13, 2022

John Moon, Jr. AKA John John was born on April 5, 1964 to Rev. John Moon, Sr. and Mattie Moon.  John John transitioned from this life on September 13, 2022.  He was the fourth and youngest child but the wisest of the four.  John John graduated from Hughes High School in 1982.  John John worked several jobs with his most current job being at UC Health, where he was employed for fifteen dedicated years.  John John loved sports with his favorite athlete being Lebron James.  He loved listening to all types of music.  John John also loved his dog, Xavier.  John John loved being with his brothers and only sister and had an extreme love for his nieces and nephews.  You always knew where John John stood and how he felt about any, and all things because he would let you know and kept it real 100% of the time.  John John had a very close relationship with his dad.  Through and because of his dad's ministry, he acquired a strong spiritual relationship with God and the Word.

Preceding John John in death were both of his parents and his younger brother, Leamond Moon.

John John leaves so many beautiful memories to be cherished by his siblings, Michael (Lashon), Tony, Jeanette (cookie) and Harford Penn (Preach)(Johnetta); nieces, Ebone', Erica, Erin, Latonia, Khalisha, Dantiyelle, Mikia, Valessia and Mishonda; nephews, James, Mike Mike, Marcus and Lamont and too many other nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews to name. He also leaves two dear cousins who are more like sisters, Gwendolyn (Gwenie), Johnetta (PV); a friend who was like a brother, Mike McCoy and a host of other relatives and dear friends.  Keep the party going John John until we meet again.

A Gathering of Family and Friends is from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, 45206.  The memorial service will immediately follow the gathering beginning at 2:30 pm.
