John Marlin Williams, age 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  passed away on July 31, 2025. He was born on September 19, 1946, in Kingston, West Virginia to the late Melvin John Williams and Geneva Gertrude Smith.

Around the age of six, John was blessed to have Barbara enter his life, whom he loved, honored, and always spoke of as his mother. John grew up to graduate from St. Bernard High School. He later spent many dedicated years working at LSI Industries in Blue Ash, Ohio. On August 21, 1971, he married the love of his life Brenda. Together, they shared 54 beautiful years of happy marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion.

Affectionately known as “Johnny” or “Uncle Johnny” to family and fondly called “Wolfey” by his beloved wife “Red”, who was the center of his world.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda; his devoted daughter, Tina; his cherished grandson, Joey; his cherished granddaughter Jalisa; his adored great-granddaughter, Jace; his loving sister Vi ; his brothers-in-law, Rodney and Mike; his sisters-in-law, Audrey, Laura, and Vicki; his nieces, Michelle, Danielle, and Racheal; and his nephew, Andy. He is also survived by a host of great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Geneva; his mother, Barbara; his brother, Bobby; his nephew Justin; his grandson, Jacob; his mother-in-law, Rita; his brothers-in-law, Mike, Jim, and Brian; and most recently, his dear nieces, Jordin and Emma.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11:00 am at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
