Johnny Troy Larkin was born May 24, 1964 and laid to rest January 2, 2025.  Johnny was known as "Big John" by his friends and loved ones. Troy was a loving and caring, father and grandfather. Troy was a very strong minded person. He didn't play about his kids and his family. Troy called himself a warrior.  No matter what you were going through, he always said, "Never give up and lose faith." To know Troy, you will known he is a Steeler fan.  Steelers were his favorite football team.  He loved the black and yellow.  Nobody could tell him anything about the Steelers that he didn't already know.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Larkin and Johnny Larkin.

Troy leaves behind to cherish his memory three children, Ednisha, Jonathan and Charlnise; six grandchildren, Nairah, Jamelah, Tamyliah, Raynilah, Ellianah, and Taivyon; three siblings, Dwayne Larkin, Father Rey Taylor and  Denise Taylor; his life partner, Charletta Johnson, along with many other relatives and friends.  Johnny Larkin will always be remembered as a warrior.  He is now at peace.  Lets enjoy the memories and the love he left with us (Steeler Nation).

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 at noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 745 Ezzard Charles Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
