The Obituary John R. Fraley (Johnny Boy) May 26, 1939 - December 26, 2017 John Raymond Fraley was born May 26, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this life on December 26, 2017 peacefully at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cora Lee Brown-Fraley and Melvin Fraley; his wife, Bettye A. Fraley and sister Sandra Fraley. He grew up attending St. Christina Catholic Church in Lincoln Heights. After graduating from Wayne High School he entered the Air Force where he served his country proudly. After his military service he married Bettye Ann Simpson. Together they shared five children. John was an avid sports fan, he rooted for all Ohio teams. Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and Ohio State University and others, but loved the Cincinnati Reds most of all. John was a music lover who even joined a band with a group of his friends. He was a very neat person and would not leave the house without showering, applying cologne and dressing his best, even to go to the store. He leaves to cherish his memory; his sister Jacquelyn (Yisrael) Mulholland; his children, Karl D. Perdue, Karen D. Jenkins, Kimberly D. Kym, Angela D. Fraley and Tosha (Kenneth) Jones; his grandchildren, Ebony Perdue, Christopher Fraley, Krystal Fraley, Tomie McDonald Jr., Joya Jenkins, Kimonti Carter, Marcus Carter, Daphne Breamejia, Joshua Richards, Kayla Kym, Tyccarla Morris, Kenna Fraley, Dominique Smith and Kenneth Jones, III; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation is from 10:30 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment at 11:00 a.m., January 3, 2018, at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
