John Edwin Hook March 11, 1956 - February 5, 2024

John Edwin Hook, 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 5, 2024 surrounded by those who loved him most. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Warren and Elizabeth Hook; sisters Sandra and Janie Hook; brothers Gary and Ronnie Hook, and his best friend Steve Cassidy. John is survived by his wife of 44 years Barbara Hook. He was the cherished father of Kristy (Phil Daniels) Hook, Jaclynn (Sean) Moore, and Brayonna Hook. Beloved grandpa/papaw to Jaelyn (Connor Glenn ) Hook, Kylyn (Gabriel Neal) Hook, Paisleigh Moore, and AJ, Dominic, Christian, and Jaynie Daniels. brother to seven remaining siblings and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Russ Smith.

Long time employee of ADT and volunteer at The Salvation Army Disaster Services. He was also one of the founding members of The Fire Photographers Association. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
