John Freddrick Evans was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 25, 1961, to the late John Evans and Carrie Evans-Clendenning. He departed this life on May 15, 2013, at Ohio State University Hospital of Columbus, Ohio. John attended Withrow High School. After High School attended Job Corps Vocational School for Electrical Engineering and Carpentry. He traveled the country working . He aided in a rebuilding project after a hurricane in Florida. John married Karen Carnes and from this union three children were born: Angel Sade Evans, John Christian Evans and the late Keisha Evans. His oldest daughter, Candice Evans, from his previous marriage. John enjoyed skating. He skated with friends and was an original member of the 'Royal Renegades', a skating crew originating at Royal Palace Skating Rink. John skated at Golden Skates for many years, where he gained his 'Skating family'. He loved skating so much that he was known by the names 'Job Corp' and later 'Lord Ghost Walker' at the skating rink. John worked for Rumpke Trash Removal and Recycling for many years. He was well known and loved by the staff and co-workers. He was a devoted worker and took great pride in his work. John leaves not to mourn, but to cherish his precious memory: his loving wife, Karen Evans; children, Candice Evans, Angel Evans, and John Evans; his mother, Carrie Evans Clendenning; his sisters, Katholine (Earl) Durham, Denise (Greg) Masters, Sandra Evans, Jacqueline Evans, and Carrie (Theodore) Jackson; brother-in-laws, Chris Carnes and Leroy Bonner; sister-in-laws, Anna Carnes and Genny Carnes Serrano; grandchild, Mya Evans; a special nephew, who preceded in him in death, Chafontia Hixon; his aunt, Queen Evans and uncle, Otis Brumfield and Wallace Brumfield; special cousins, Theresa Durhart, Kathy Williams, Jewel Copeland, and Ervin, members from the Washington and Durhart families; special friends, Brenda Woods, Alicia Reece, and Marcus 'Slim' Dunbar; a host of nieces and nephews who were all special to him and he loved so very much. Also, his 'Skating family' who was so special to him. Visitation 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 24 at Pure Gospel Church Of God, 1516 Chandler Street, Madisonville, (45227) with services at 12:00 noon. The Bishop Elmer Brown, III will officiate. Pallbearers: Theodore Jackson, Earl Durham, Leroy Bonner, Christopher Carnes, Gregory Masters, Chazz Hixon, James Porter. Honorary Pallbearers: Marty D. Levingston, Sr., Marty D. Levingston, Jr., and Antoine D. Evans.
