It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of John William Covington, age 75, of Newport, Kentucky,  who entered eternal rest on Monday, December 9, 2024, in Ft Mitchell,  Kentucky.   He was born on Thursday, September 1, 1949, in Covington, Kentucky.

Due to Snow Emergency - Services have been rescheduled to Sunday, January 12, 2025. Visitation is from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home—Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
