John Richard Chalfant, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019.  He was born to Charles Earden Chalfant and Mary Ellen (Feltner) Chalfant. He leaves behind his children, John Richard (Cindy) Chalfant, Jr., Kathy Nicole (Shawn) Chalfant, Mathew (April) Chalfant, John Ross Chalfant and Justice Chalfant; Brother; Larry Chalfant; Sister, Mary Ann Cheney; Grandchildren, Kayla Stephens, Kelly Stephens, Kaitlyn Stephens, Kylee Thomas and Ashlyn Chalfant. He also leaves a host of nieces and  nephews. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Carl Chalfant and Charles Chalfant, Jr., and 3 sisters Kathy Kasnik, Gail Chalfant and Debbie Chalfant.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on  Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Walker Funeral Home - Butler County, 532 S. Second Street, Hamilton  (45011).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
