John Barnett, fondly known as "Da Da" was born on November 19, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of John Robinson Barnett and Mary Lee (Woods) Barnett.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Louis Albert Barnett "Pete"; and is survived by his twin brother, Ronnie Barnett "Fat".  John departed this earthly life on June 29, 2019.

John accepted Christ and was baptized at Beams of Heaven Baptist Church where he served as a longstanding member and Usher.

He faithfully prepared the church for service each Sunday.  John was a very loving and kind person, always making sure that you knew how much he loved you.

John attended and graduated from Taft High School. He then remained in Cincinnati, Ohio where he worked as a maintenance man at the Western Health Center and then worked at Club Chef until his retirement. John enjoyed detailing cars, was an avid fisherman.  Most of all, he loved church.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his children, Priscilla Stanley, John Jackson Jr. (Trisha) and Dorothy Jackson (Kevin); a brother, Ronnie Barnett (Selina); special friend, Theola Fleming "Cricket''; and a host of grandchildren, relatives and dear friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
