John Arthur Smith, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born June 5, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Betty; children, John Smith, Victor (Johnnie Mae) Gibson, Sharon Mays, Donald (Constance) Stewart, Diane Robertson, Kimberly Stewart, and David (Angela) Stewart; two sisters, Edna Brady and Sylvia (James) McCreay; brother, Sylvester Smith. Grandchildren, Sonia Charles, Marian and Elizabeth, ShaDonn, Blake, Jayson, James, Darius, David, Blair, Shannon, Kennedy, Jalen, Tahj, and Dorian; Great-grandchildren, Ahshai, Jair, James, Jada, Zion, Jameel, Peyton, Jariah, David, Azariah, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the New Vision United Methodist Church, 4400 Reading Rd, Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at noon. Interment will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
