Jodie Lumpkin Jr was born October 11, 1934, to the late Jodie and Ethel Lumpkin Senior. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramana Rowe Lumpkin, sisters, Natalie Smith and Deloris Lumpkin. Jodie graduated from Woodward High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 195. He later transferred to the Reserves in 1956 to 1959. Jodie served with the National Defenses, China Services, and Korean Services. He received an honorable discharge. Leaving to cherish his memories; five daughters, Marnema, Jodisha, Kimberly, Terri of Cincinnati and Renee of California; two sons, Curtis and Donyale of Cincinnati, grandchildren, Justin, Telisha, Courtney, Candice, Jovon, Tyrell, Carletta, Kiara Terry of Cincinnati, Aunts, Rosa Jones, brother, Reese C. Lumpkin, sister-in-law Margret, his favorite nephew Gamel Smith .
