Joanie Lotts Obituary

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Joanie Lotts, 90, of Hyde Park and Blue Ash, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Born April 22, 1935, in Akron, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William H. (Bill) Lotts, in 2019. She is survived by a niece, Nancy (Charles) Keele, of Akron.

Joanie was a volunteer for and advocate of many community-based arts, cultural and charitable organizations, including the Cincinnati Opera, Ballet and Symphony. She was recognized as a Cincinnati Woman of the Year in 2014.

A Celebration of Life for Joanie and Bill is planned, and details will be announced in the near future.

Joanie will be laid to rest beside Bill at Spring Grove Cemetery.
