IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jimmy
Minter
December 1, 1969 – September 8, 2025
Jimmy Minter passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 55, to be in the safety of God and his Mom's arms. He was born on December 1, 1969, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Martha Lee (Edwards) Minter and Jim Johnson.
Jimmy was educated in Cincinnati Public Schools. He attended Washburn Elementary, Bloom Jr. High, and graduated from Taft High School. He was a proud resident of the Laurel Homes in the West End. He later resided in the City West housing development. He was employed by Allied Universal as a Security Guard at the JM Smucker Plant for 29 years.
Jimmy was a huge sports fan. He will tell you he has been a Bengals fan since 1979. He enjoyed going to the stadium on Sundays to watch the Bengals play. He watched all of the NBA games and college sports. Weekends were made for watching sports all day and night. His television was always tuned in to ESPN. Jimmy enjoyed Old School Music and keeping in touch with all his friends through text message and Facebook. He really enjoyed sharing and laughing at disgusting food pictures he found on Facebook, and joking with his friends. He loved people and was a loving family member and friend to many. He always reached out to his friends and family via text or Facebook to wish them Happy Birthday.
Jimmy loved his family and is rejoicing in heaven with all those family members that preceded him in death - mother and father, Martha Minter and Jim Johnson; his siblings, Jacqueline Minter and Stanley Minter; and nephews, Randy Minter and Keith Minter.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory - his sibling, Martha Elizabeth Minter, and his brother by choice, Darrell Frazier, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other good friends.
Jimmy, take your rest now with your beloved mother. You fought a very good fight. We all love you and will miss you dearly (RIP). As Jimmy would say, "Smoke Stacks forever."
