Jesse Jacobs, Jr. passed away Friday, January 6, 2017. He was born September 15, 1953 to Elizabeth and Jesse Jacobs in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jesse was one of the kindest people and a jokester you could ever know. He Joined the U.S. Marine Corp with his brother James in August, 1973. After completing a tour of service, Jesse and Joan Clark gave life to three children, Valencia, Jesse, and Nicole Clark. Jesse met and married Sharon Middlebrooks in July, 1988 and raised two children, Markeith Johnson, and Octavius Johnson. Jesse loved going to church. Cooking, creating pastries and baking were his forte. He worked at several diners before joining Aramark on the University of Cincinnati campus where he continued his work as a cook and baker. His hobbies included gardening, collecting electronic gadgets such as video games, taking pictures, recording videos and watching his favorite movies. Other immediate family members that have preceded Jesse Jacobs Jr. in death are Elizabeth Jacobs (mother), Jesse Jacobs, Sr. (father), Samantha Davis (step-mother) and Betty Edmondson (sister). Jesse is survived by his siblings: Phillip Jacobs, Joseph (Ruenell ) Jacobs, John (Allishia) Jacobs, James Stan Jacobs, Willie Jacobs, Nannette Crutcher, Orlene Candy Mukes, Vanessa (Otis) Chapman, Jeffery (Nina) Davis, Jerome (Michelle) Davis, Glen Davis, Derrick Davis, Jermaine Jacobs, Nakisha Jacobs and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives and friends. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
