Jerry Edwin Sweet passed away September 4, 2014 at the age of 54. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on September 21, 1959. He was an awesome drummer for the late Johnny Paycheck. He is survived by his mother, Farlene Sweet; son, Jerry W. (Becky) Sweet; daughter, Alisha (Dan) Davis; brothers, Lonnie Sweet, Johnnie Sweet, Terry Sweet; Rick Andres, Gary Andres, Carl (Rug) Hibbard, and Gordon Trusty; grandchildren, Matthew Sweet, Lucas Sweet, Mariah Sweet, Ethan Davis, and Ella Davis; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Sweet, father, Edwin Sweet, and his grandparents. Funeral services will be conducted at 2;30 pm, Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Garr & Stewart Funeral Home, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Paddock and Reading Road), Cincinnati (45229) with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. The Sweet family wishes to express sincere gratitude to all the family and friends for their love and support.
