Jerry Eugene Isenburg, age 75 of Walnut Hills, went to be with the Lord January 10, 2014. He was born on September 25, 1938 in Pekin, IL to his parents, Dorothy and Paul Isenburg. He was an only child, preceded in death by both parents. He was married to his second wife, Martha Heidler Isenburg, who also preceded him in death. He is survived by his first wife, Elizabeth Capel, and his three children, Blythe Isenburg, Brenda (Larry) Foley, and Blair (Andrea) Isenburg; grandchildren, Todd Foley, Alisha (CD) Creech, Lauren Isenburg, and Lindsay Isenburg; step-children, Vicki Heidler, Sarah Heidler and Joey Heidler and his step grandchildren. He grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana and graduated from Purdue University with an engineering degree in Chemical and Civil Engineering in 1960. He immediately left with his wife and new born daughter to his new job at Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan. Later in 1974, he moved his family of 5 to Cincinnati, Ohio where he lived until his death, except for when he achieved a PhD from Clemson University, and later when he taught college in Marietta, Georgia. He was an elder and sang in the choir at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church. He also served as a leader in the Hyde Park Methodist widow and widowers group. Donations if desired may be made to UC Conservatory of Music. Memorial service will be held on January 16 from 5 until 6 at Walker Funeral Home, 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati 45206.
