IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jerry Lewis
Black
July 30, 1985 – April 5, 2024
The Life of a King Jerry! Jerry Lewis Rico Black was born on July 30, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the proud parents of Carla Black and Rodell Johnson. Jerry departed this life on Friday April 5, 2024 at the age of 38. Jerry attended Heberle Elementary, Hayes Porter and Western Hills High School. King Jerry was a very smooth laid-back gentle, loving kind family-oriented man with a big heart to and for everybody. Jerry loved to play Chess he was so good at it he made the newspaper. That let you know he had a good mind set because it takes a true thinker to conquer the moves in chess.
Jerry loved to eat candy and play video games. Jerry was a leader and family man. He earned the title KING. He taught and always express to his siblings to stick together no matter what. He also showed that same love to the 'FDD" record label family "Focused Disciplined and Dedicated".
Jerry was a giver and always showed up for others in a time of need. He loved The West End where he was raised. He would be that KING that gave back to the community through bookbags, food, shoes and a lot of love. Jerry always showed up no matter what. Even when he didn't want to or was mad his actions showed different.
Jerry was an entrepreneur in many ways. He did many great things in the city. His own record company, restaurant, and everything that helped others, that was Jerry.
Jerry leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother Carla Black, his father Rodell Johnson, his son King-Ja-Aire Amir Jackson daughter Ramaya Mamie O'Neal, his grandmother Vivian Maxwell, eleven siblings: brothers: Jermaine, Tremaine, Mattaniah, Rico, sisters Juquisha, Julisha, Keisha, Shanaisha, Frances, Rhonda and Jerica and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and great-nephews and special friend William Simpson. A special shout to his cousins, Sam and Ricardo.
