Jerritt Hayes was born July 2, 1985 to Pamela (Hayes) Wofford and Willie J. Jones in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jerritt departed this earthly life on December 13, 2016. While residing with his father, Willie Jones and step mother Antoinette Jones, he became a member of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where he gave his life to Christ at a young age. He was involved in the Youth choir, Usher Board, State Conventions and more. He was also a part of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati (Avondale), where he earned a number of awards including 2004 Youth of the Year. He graduated from Purcell Marion in 2004. Shortly after, he obtained a degree in Culinary Arts from Cincinnati State Technical College. Jerritt's hobbies included playing pool and making music. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Pamela Wofford; father, Willie Jones; step mother Antoinette Jones; grandmothers Linda Hayes, Mary Jones, five brothers; Corey Rice, Tiron Jones (Ayisha), Rasbem Wofford, Todd McClinton, Santinos Underwood; six sisters Jovan Jones, Ashley Underwood, Jasmine Jones, Janell Bonner, Hailey Wofford, Kamaria Wofford; his special friend Latrice Hogan (Mackenzi & Lanaih); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Virginia Hayes. He was loved by all who knew him and will forever be cherished in our hearts. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the Corinthian Baptist Church - Whittier Street, 772 Whittier Street, Cincinnati (45229).
