Obituary

Intervals of Life Jerome Burgess was born on May 19, 1962 in Spring on a picturesque day to the parents of Charles Edward Burgess and Shirley Ann Henderson Burgess in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jerome resonated amity, socially and academically. In 18 years of his life, he received a Graduate Diploma from Woodward High School. Shortly after, Jerome enlisted into the United States Army in Fort Sills, Oklahoma where he endured one year of basic training. Upon receiving his honorable medical discharge, Jerome meticulously became avid for a higher learning. Whereas, he enrolled in Georgia Tech University and remained studious until he graduated and received an Associate Degree in sociology and his business apprenticeship, which attributed Jerome a multi-career oriented professional he persevered working in Atlanta, Georgia and Newport News, Virginia. During his first pursuits, Jerome kindled an amorous courtship with Tracie, which preceded him into his first fatherhood. He became parenting and partner to a daughter, Chelsea Imani Burgess. As a father, Jerome nurtured her with unconditional love which kept confluncing amatively. Whereas, Jerome entered into holy matrimony with Rose Graham Burgess, they were blessed with a son, Jamal Burgess, who he diligently fostered fatherly love to - until it was exceedingly impossible for Jerome to reside as a nuclear family in Columbia, South Carolina. Therefore, he relocated back to Cincinnati, Ohio with his siblings and extended family. It reassured him that somebody's responsible was overseeing his medical care at Madeira Health Care Center for an enduration of five years. Jerome's medical care was given by an intrinsic healthcare staff, as he slumbered into sleep upon his final breath unto his final winter season with us. Jerome's spiritual soul had been summoned to transpire into it's levitations of exhortations. Jerome's parents preceded him in death too soon, but not without aspiring Jerry one of the primogenitors' comedians. In 1968, Jerry mirrored comedian, Johnny Carson's musical interlude. He imagined a curtained stage, where he stood in tuned and synchronized, when the music played. Ready to speed and run out from behind the curtains. Charge! Circling around our living room vocally announcing 'Here's Johnny!!' Jerry has mirrored Ed McMahon, he was a night owl at five, who ironically become the first comedian of the Burgess siblings. 'Shu nuff!' Jerry regenerated humor and all that laughter to be reminisce of Jerry's humor. 4 sisters, 2 brothers, Karen Y Burgess, Charles T Burgess, Anthony W Burgess, Sherry L Burgess, the late Michelle Burgess, the late Jacqueline T Burgess, Linda R Burgess, Sander M Hankerson, a host of nieces and nephews, Eboni Kennedy Charles Burgess, Jr, Benjamin Kennedy II, Tommy Bronaugh II, the late Michael Burgess, Brent R Burgess, Kimberly Tyaman Burgess, Ugavis Hawthorne, Endia Benton, Olivia Burgess, Ayesha Burgess, Anthony Burgess, Jr., Alaina Burgess, a host of 6 great nieces, 3 great nephews (3rd Generation) Jerome's maternal aunts and uncles' lineage, Premieres, Evangelist Virginia (H) Allen, Leon (Elaine) Henderson, Winston Henderson, Dr. Clyde (Janis) Henderson, Dr. Marcia (D) Garrison, Tonya Henderson Brady (Tony), Jerome's paternal uncles, Leroy Burgess, Weroth Burgess, the late Huston Burgess, Tommy Burgess, the late, Eugene Burgess, Wallace Burgess. a host of premier cousins, extended family members and friends, and a most appreciative thanks to Madeira Heath Care staff. poems Endear Father Dad, although our time together was short.
