Jerome Albert Beimesche, age 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on Saturday, May 27, 1944, in Mariemont, Ohio, the son of Ethel Marie (nee Bollman) Beimesche and Edward Clarence Beimesche, Sr. He was the middle child of seven, two girls and five boys. He grew up in Madisonville, attended St. John Vianney Church and Cure' of Ars School and Purcell High School. He joined the US Navy in 1962 and served on the USS Piedmont during Vietnam. In 1966, his wife to be, Mary Ann and his parents drove to San Diego, California to pick him up. A little while later on May 18, 1968 he was married to Mary Ann Logan. They welcomed their first child, Deborah J., followed by Douglas J., David J. and Diane J. All with the initials DJB. When their children were still young, Jerry went to night school and earned his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Cincinnati. He worked for the Verdin Company (repairing church bells in many of our local churches), Cincinnati Milacron, Osaka Titanium Corporation (producing parts for semiconductors), Goldcrown Machinery (management) and TSA at Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport as a security guard until his retirement. He volunteered with Fairfax Swim Club when his daughter, Diane was a lifeguard there. When the children were still small, Jerry would take the entire family to camp, fish, or hike at different parks, such as Stonelick State Park, Hueston Woods State Park, Shawnee Lookout or Hocking Hills. On some of the weekends, the family would go to the farm. The farm consisted of a log cabin from the mid 1800s, trails and a pole barn that Jerry helped the owner build with reclaimed wood from another cabin. There, the family would ride the trails with a go-cart and find treasures with a metal detector. Jerry loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was constantly helping someone with fixing things. He was always working on cars, either one of his own or a neighbor's and he taught all of his children the basics. He loved classic cars and even volunteered every year at the Cincinnati Concourse d'Elegance at Ault Park (a classic car show benefiting the Arthritis Foundation) until his health declined. For the past 15 years, he joined his daughter at the Ohio Renaissance Festival during off season every year to make repairs on her building there. He dedicated his time to help with the Villa Madonna's soccer team in Villa Hills, Kentucky during the time his grandchildren were playing soccer and even after they graduated. Every year, he attended a horror movie convention, called HorrorHound with his daughter, Debbie. There, they met many of the stars of the films that they would watch together many late evenings. He would attend the Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Show in Georgetown, Ohio every year. He and his brothers all loved trains and would attend any train display they could find. Most of them even had their own train displays at home to show off when friends or family would visit. He was a member of Ohio Gun Collectors Association for 12 years and attended their shows until his health declined.  Once a month, he would join his former classmates from Purcell High School at a restaurant, where they could share stories of the past and update each other of what was happening in each of their lives.   

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sister Elaine Beimesche and Marilyn (Fred) Schuerman; three brothers, Edward (Carol) Beimesche, Jr., Jim Beimesche, George Beimesche. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann Beimesche (nee Logan); his children, Deborah J. (Michael) Booher, Douglas J. (Jen) Beimesche, David J. Beimesche, and Diane J. (Scott) Pickens; brother, Daniel (Patty) Beimesche; sisters-in-law, Kathy Evans and Elaine Beimesche; brother-in-law, William (Ruth Ann) Logan; grandchildren, Miranda (Shawn), Connor, Alysa, Brayden, Brooklyn, Hunter, and Logan; great grandchildren, Ronan and Kieran; numerous nieces, nephews and his Australian Shepherd, Toby.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206).  On Thursday, August 20, 2026, friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 3105 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45209.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
