Jeffery attended Lincoln Heights Elementary, Junior High, & High School. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1972 and attended Central State University. In 1972 he was drafted into the US Army. He served his country in Anchorage Alaska, and Ft. Jackson South Carolina. Jeffery joined Mount Moriah Baptist Church at a young age, and he attended Greater New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He was loving, generous, and full of personality. There wasn't too many that came in contact with him that didn't love him. He loved God, family, friends, and music. Jeffery enjoyed playing basketball, hanging with the fellas, bike riding, and driving fast (the Original Fast & Furious). He loved natural beauty and had a passion for growing plants. He loved to dance and sing. And most of all he enjoyed life and lived his to the fullest. Jeffery Montez Mackey 62 passed away on March 3, 2015 in Cincinnati Ohio. His memory will be cherished by his Mother, Geneva Mackey Caldwell; Sister, Jennifer Lynn (Cornell) Springer; Nieces, Danielle Alexandria Worsham and Janelle Rene Springer and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Tate. Memorial Service on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 1:00pm, at Friendship Baptist Church 866 Congress Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45215.
