Jeanette Wigging Johnson was born on June 23, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025.

Jeanette was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two devoted children, Joann T. Olivari and Gregory M. Fikes, and was preceded in death by Joseph III and Annette.

Jeanette attended Lucy Flower Technical School in Chicago. She later completed her Licensed Practical Nursing program and worked for 22 years at Children's Hospital as a tracheotomy nurse.

Jeanette stayed active throughout her life. She was a very skilled seamstress and sewed clothing for her children, including a beautiful wedding dress for her daughter. Her hobbies included swimming and playing bridge with friends.

Jeanette resided in a two-family home in Evanston for 65 years.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
