Jean Dick passed away peacefully on September 23, 2014 at the age of 89, while in hospice care. She had an accomplished nursing career at Cincinnati General Hospital, was an avid golfer, loved to play piano and listen to opera, and always adored her pets. Jean was born on August 2, 1925 in Hibbing, Minnesota to Lloyd and Gertrude Moffett. Jean is survived by her beloved daughter, Susan Rentz, and adored grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Rentz. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm, a memorial service will follow at Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 S. Broadway Nyack, NY 10960. Jean will be laid to rest in Laurel Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the or the United Hospice of Rockland County.
