Janet Elizabeth Woolf was born July 29, 1953, to the late Joe Nathan and Effie Elizabeth Woolf. Janet was the youngest of three children. She accepted Christ at an early age, uniting withtheMessiah Baptist Church Family - singing in the choir, ushering and working with her Girls in the kitchen. Janet graduated from Western High School and took Medical Billing classes at WC3. Shelived her life to the fullest, enjoying traveling, cooking, bowling and making everyone laugh. She was very outgoing and never met a stranger. Janet could out talk the best of them about most subjects. Janet was a member of the Detroit Gentlemen Motor Cycle Club, where she was affectionately known as "Honey". She loved to ride the Harley. She made many friendsaround the countrythrough this fellowship. She departed this life Friday, October 30, 2015, after a lengthy illness. She leaves to carry her memories;one sister,Linda (Jim); one brother, Nathan Wayne; one special sister and caregiver,Cheryl (Ed);fournephews, Nat (Agnes), Ron (Monique), Keonte (Dashia) of Detroit andAaron of Alabama;six great nieces and nephews, Kimani, Nathalya, Techaud, Morgan, Keonte II and Ryan;special cousins, ShirleyHouser and Tracy Blackmon;god mother, Connie of Mississippi; godsister, Tasha of Mississippi; god brother, Venice of Mississippi; god daughter, Tish; as well asa loving Chattanooga Tennessee Family, special friend, Herman Johnson "Spock"; a loving Detroit Gentlemen Family;a host of loving and caring Detroit Sister Friends, Arlene,Barbara, Bernie, Carol, Daisy, Elsie, Gloria, Louise, Patricia, Sandra, Sharon, Vickie, Wilma and Zee; a host of other relatives, Messiah church family members and close friends.
