Janet Gay Mikle, age 81 of Amelia, Ohio,  passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021.  She was born in Greenbrier County, West Virginia on June 27, 1939,  the daughter of Clarence and Wilma Hodge.

Janet was married to Russel N. Mikle Sr. for thirty-six years and had three sons, Carley, Charley, and Russell Jr.  She had one grandson, Carley Mikle Jr.  Janet had nine siblings and is survived by her sister Katherine Ann Hodge and many nieces and nephews.

Janet enjoyed watching old movies, reading romance novels, playing Bingo, completing crossword puzzles, crocheting, cooking, baking, and eating at Red Lobster.  Janet worked for Camp Washington Chili, Art Stamping and Formco, Inc.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial donations may be made to SPCA Cincinnati.
