Janet Lynn Garrett, age 57, passed January 3, 2014. She was born July 5, 1956 in Covington, Kentucky. Janet Lynn Garrett was born to George Frank Nutter, Sr. (deceased) and Lula Mae Nutter on July 5, 1956. Born in Covington, Kentucky, Janet was the youngest daughter of six children. She passed away to her eternal resting place on January 3, 2014. Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Janet attended Wyoming High School. As a youth, she enjoyed playing basketball, playing pool, bike riding, and bowling. She loved winning stuffed animals at amusement parks. Her collection included over 100 stuffed animals. She was blessed to find her 'first love of Christ' at Zion Temple Church where she and her daughter were baptized. She followed Christ all her years and God put her in 'good hands at Victory Church of the Nazarene' with Rev. Harrison. Janet taught Sunday School for 17 years and served on the church board. She worked in the childcare field for over 15 years. Janet was a fun loving, creative and caring person. She loved children and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. She loved watching television. Her favorite show was Survivor. Janet is survived by her husband, James; her daughter, April; her granddaughter, Arbor Sage and Rebecca; her stepson, Jemel; her mother, Lula Mae; her sister, Denise; her brothers, Ronald and Vernon as well as a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and beloved friends.
