IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ja'Mon Charles
Riley Higgs
November 8, 1989 – January 28, 2021
JaMon Charles Riley Higgs was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson and friend to everyone. Affectionately known as "Boogie", who never met a stranger. Boogie left this world suddenly on January 28, 2021 at the age of 31.
Boogie was born November 8, 1989 in Edgewood, Kentucky. He attended Covington public schools where he quickly became the life of the lunchroom making everyone laugh from the students to the cafeteria workers. Boogie had no boundaries when it came to cracking jokes and no one was exempt. Although Boogie fought a long battle once being diagnosed with remitting, relapsing Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 16, he never let it get him down. Despite his debilitating health, he kept people rolling in laughter up to his final moments. Boogie was a one man show from making beats to rapping to acting out his favorite movies and tv shows to being a standup comedian.
Boogie had a passionate love affair with "dot dawgs and pork n beans", fried chicken and cheeseburgers. He is survived by his best friend, confidant and loving mother, Teia Riley; five brothers, JaMar Higgs, JaMel Riley, Kamani Hester, Greg Pritchett, and Brian Higgs; three sisters, Tiara Higgs, Shaila Wilson, and Kristen Hester, favorite cousin\sister, Dyese Riley; grandparents, Barbara Riley Vinson (Eugene Vinson), Marvin Butts (Tabatha Anderson-Butts) and James Jones deceased (Donna Jones); aunts, Reyonne Riley, Stacey Booker, Corita Johnson and Sylvia Roper; uncles, Scott Wilson (Anna Wilson), Adam Higgs (Linda Higgs), Rail Hughes and Shawn Johnson (Angela Johnson); God Parents, Arlena Montgomery (Michael Montgomery) and Julian Crumes. He was loved by all his nieces and nephews, Jaqueze, Andrew Jr, JaMel Carlon Jr, Madux Aidan, Kieryn JaLaine, NaZyia Amarri, DaMaury Lanier, JaMar Christopher Jr, Kali Anae and Breyzin Sanaa and a host of other relatives.
His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by all that knew..."PRETTY BOOGIE"!
