James Irving Wills was born May 9, 1926 in Brownsville, Tennessee. He was the sixth child born to Matt & Eddie Mae (Wiley) Wills. In December of 1948 he married Margaret Freeman. There were five children born to this union: Sarah Denise Wills-Dubose, Nedra Lorraine Wills, James Freeman Wills, Dwayne Olden Wills, and Amberly Dawn Ash. Love ones who preceded him in death: father, mother, wife, son, daughter, two grandsons, five brothers and three sisters. Prior to relocating to Cincinnati, James received his spiritual foundation at First Holiness Church in Brownville, Tennessee. He later joined Mt. James graduated from Haywood County Training School (later changed to Carver High School) and went on to Tennessee Agricultural and Industrial State University (now Tennessee State University) where he received his certificate for Teaching on the Job Training for Farmers. James served in the US Army during the Korean War. He also received his training for an Electronics Technician as well as a Licensed Boiler Room Operator. He was employed by Cincinnati Millicron, Container Corporation and the National Distillery until the company relocated to Frankfort, Kentucky. He enjoyed working on cars and his "lawnmowers". He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters Sarah Denise Wills-Dubose, Amberly Dawn Ash, one son, Dwayne Olden Wills, one brother Charles (Lola) Wills, Brownsville, Tennessee, one sister Sophronia Wills-Hill, Denmark, Tennessee and one sister-in-law Alma Wills, Chicago, Illinois, seven grandsons, Brandon Fears, Antwan Wills, Dwayne Wills, Courtney Wills, Matthew Wills, Phillip Dubose, Joshua Wills, four granddaughters, Kelly Cash, Antoinette Wills, Cassia Seay, Jameka Wills and twenty-five great grandchildren and a very special niece Mary Louise Wills-Cummings, Columbia, Maryland; godchildren: Oliver Rollinson, Tyler Rollinson, Roy Gibson, Cynthia Thomas, Regina Blue, Jonathan Harris, Ralph Miller and Jean Starks and his church family and a host of relatives and friends.
