James Earl
Walker
March 1, 1967 – February 10, 2026
James Earl Walker, born March 1, 1967, passed away peacefully at his home on February 10, 2026. As the youngest of ten children born to Jeanna Mae Walker and Thomas Henry Clark, James grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. As the document notes, he was the youngest of 10 children of his late mother Jeanna Mae, a role he carried with pride and affection throughout his life.
James attended Burton Elementary School from kindergarten through sixth grade before graduating from Western Hills High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed the strong work ethic that would define his career.
He dedicated his life to the field of repairing bicycles for Montgomery Cycle Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. His work focused on improving workplace culture,
James was a man of many talents and interests. He was known for his sharp mind and sense of humor. Outside of work, he enjoyed literature, environmental conservation, and was the number one fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, pursuits that reflected his curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for the world around him.
He leaves behind a devoted family, including Pauline Blackburn, Malikah Mu'Min, Irma Pernell, Phyllis Walker, Jacqueline Walker, Guy Markel Walker, Doreatha Walker, and Thomas Henry Walker, and his honorary brother Nathan Schneider. He was preceded in death by his sister Scarlett Ferguson. James is also survived by his beloved aunt, Barbara Leach, the last of his mother's generation.
James will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his life dedication to others, and the quiet strength he carried through every chapter of his life. His presence will be deeply missed, but his impact will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Amen
