James Theodore Towns was born on October 15, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Melody Davis.  He was known to family as Teddy and known as Jimmy to his friends.  After a tragic accident, he departed this land on December 4, 2021.  His smile and infectious laugh will be remembered by all who knew him.  He will be missed.

James spent his entire life in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Cincinnati Public Schools.  After high school, he joined the workforce and was known as a hard worker.  He cherished his relationships and even through ups and downs, continued to love those close to him.  He consistently sought connection with those around him.  He was truly a unique soul and was unafraid to be himself.  James loved his computer, his bike and video games.  He had a love of wrestling that he kept from the time he was a small child.

He leaves behind his mother, Melody Davis; five brothers and sisters, Quincy Towns (Kelly), Cherlonda Towns, LaTrice Towns-Miller (Tony Miller), Rodrick Reed and Camille Johnson and his girlfriend, Lakesha Knoll.  He leaves behind nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.  He would also want to mention his family in love, foster parents, Yvonne and James Abernathy and foster sibling, Medinah Hagan-Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm at Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
