James Stephen Trent, 69, of Cincinnati, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at his son's residence. He was born on March 5, 1949. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dorothy Trent; sister Betty Jean Miles. Survivors include one son Joseph S. (Gina) Trent, one daughter Angela of Cincinnati, two children that he raised as his own, Paula (Brad) Heidel and Vanessa, 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas of Fairfield, Norris of Bardstown, and David of Cox's Creek; two sisters Barbara of Deatsville and Judith of Scipio, Ind. Visitation 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at St. Gregory Catholic Church. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and will begin at 11:00 a.m.. Rev. Peter Do will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial Contributions may go to St. Gregory Catholic Church.
