Served in the United States Army October 24, 1942 to February 4, 1946. Served in American Theater, Asiatic Pacific Theater. Received two bronze stars Philippine Liberation Ribbon Good Conduct Medal WWII Victory Metal Preceded in death by wife Carol Lucille Stegall son, James Stegall Jr He leaves: daughters, Vera Naylor (Murphy), Patricia Johnson (Nathaniel) Carol Ann; son, Charles Antony (sheila), daughter in law, Valla Jean 6 grandsons 6 granddaughters 26 great-grandchildren Pallbearers: Edward C. Stegall Murphy Nautor Jr Anthony Morgan Andre Allen Terious Stegall Charles A. Stegall
