James E. Pate was born on Thursday, August 15th, 1963 and was raised in Hamilton, Ohio.

He was self-employed for 20 years as owner of J. Pate Consulting, LLC.

Jim was a huge fan of all sports. He was the number one fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, while enjoying many years of tailgating with family and friends. Jim took great pride in being a licensed semi-pro softball umpire. He loved fishing on Lake Erie at Geneva on the Lake with family and friends.

Jim is survived by: his wife Michelle," Mickey" who he adored' daughter, Kayla Pate; stepsons, Christopher, James and Jon Reams; nine grandchildren, Briana, Maya, Layla, Michael, Clayton, Eleanor, Amelia, Jerren, and Jordyn; his sister, Natalie Craft and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his three sons, Matthew, James, and Shane Pate.

James E. Pate of Franklin, Ohio, passed away a peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Super Bowl Sunday, February 9, 2025.

A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at Veterans Memorial Park, 20 New London Road. Hamilton, Ohio 45013.  E

Entombment will be at Ivy Rose Hill cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio.
