James Edward Mayes, age 78, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born March 10, 1938, in Courtland, Alabama. Visitation is from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati (45206). A Celebration of life will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Reynolds Funeral Home in Decatur, Alabama and inhumation will follow in Annie Mae Willingham Memorial Gardens in Courtland, Alabama.
