James Maxie Williams  passed away May 14, 2021.  He was born September 9, 1930, to the union of Grady and Suddie Williams.

He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age.  He grew up at First Baptist Church of Oakley along with his father Deacon Grady Williams.

James was joined in Holy Matrimony to Florence Isabell Maxberry on June 30, 1949.  To this union they had four beautiful daughters, Maxine G. Harper, Grace K. Williams, Willa M. England (Edsel) and Susan A. Artis (Michael and one son, Randy Brown (Norma).

James worked at  Pappas Dry Cleaning, Cincinnati Milacron, and Deer Park Dry Cleaning where he retired from.  James was a faithful Bengal and Reds fan.

Along with his children he also leaves to celebrate his life his four grandchildren: Lisa R. Harper, James R. Williams, Courtney R. Morrow, and Joshua T. England; great-granddaughter, Nylah R. Harper and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Ave., Cincinnati (45206) is serving the Williams family.
